HELPFUL HINTS ON Tanning
As a new member, we will instruct you on how to use the sun
beds. To establish your base tan, we recommend that you come in once a day
for 7 consecutive days. It is important to do this in succession to
achieve a good base that will be easily maintained. After you have the tan
you want, just one or two sessions a week will maintain your tan all year
around. Everyone's skin is different; let us help you determine your own
tanning schedule.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- We recommend that you tan without makeup.
- WE carry and recommend a line of skin care products
designed for indoor sun tanning. Tan lotions speed up the tanning
process and moisture the skin.
- Goggles are for your protection and must be worn during
tanning to protect the delicate eye area.
- The towel provided is to cover areas of your skin that
have not seen much sunlight. If you want to get rid of tan lines, you
should do it gradually.
- You will want to change positions 4 times while tanning
for comfort, improved circulation, and better tanning results. Areas
of your body that support your weight may tan slower due to impaired
circulation.
The

Tanning bed lamps emit UVA and UVB light- just like the
sun. The ratio of UVA (the Browning Ray) is higher 94-98% and UVB is lower
2% to 6%. Note: you derive all your Vitamin D benefits from UVB light..
Our job is to tan you responsibly and allow you to build
a tan and maintain it. You should never burn in a tanning bed or outdoors -
we are here to ensure that.
